such a downward trending sorority as far as reputation. It is a shame because they were considered a good house back in the 90's and farther back, but really gone way downhill as far as true reputation among fellow greeks. Pledging a girl with a DUI would NOT happen in the top tier houses. I can promise you that.

They're not just "being honest" -- they're being deliberately nasty under the pretense of doing something fun and festive. The dance party not only relieves them of the burden of making small talk with those PNMs they deem beneath them, but it leaves the PNMs disheveled and sweaty for when they have to go to the next house. It's a shame that you can't just skip Pi Phi during Open House without being released.

I'm not a pi phi, but they deserve an honest rank. It sucks that they're picky about the girls they get but at least they don't smile and lie to PNMs, then drop them cold. When it comes to contrived politeness vs. downright honesty, I'd pick the honesty. Only thing ruder than the "dance" is acting fake.

No one would expect any more then the dancing. Lack in the social, creative area. Probably why they can only find a few to recruit.

Are you really surprised they took a girl that has a DUI??? It is all about the money the young girl brings to the house NOT about her qualities at all. Not surprising!
