pi phi sacrifices non-vegan pledges?

I heard a rumor that Pi Phi at UM sacrifices all non-vegan pledges during initiation. Can someone please confirm or deny this??? I'm really concerned because I'm transferring from another school and don't want to have to choose between Pi Phi and my lifestyle.
