They aren't that big, and the guys who are active aren't even that active. I wish I knew the motivation people had for joining this frat ... they're brutal. They have the nicest house on campus, and maybe some half decent alum -- but other than that ???

if you can't think of anything nice to say, don't say anything at all ... so I probably shouldn't say anything at all.

Nice house when it's clean and they show up for a lot on campus but that's all they've got going for them. If you're thinking about joining look at other frats first. Maybe DU is a fit and maybe it isn't ... but I'd be willing to bet that you'll enjoy being in a different frat. You can still live in their house and go to their parties if you're not a member (paying the outrageous membership fees and having to listen to douchebag rich guys complain at meetings about girls that won't lay them).

A fraternity that supposedly has “no secrets” is fishy. What are you hiding DU?

This is a frat of shutterbugs. Love a good PR opportunity, and have no humility. Their parties are decent, they have the best house on campus, and their alum are rich - that’s about all they’ve got going for themselves. You don’t have to be a member to go to their parties or live in their house. I would recommend FH or Fiji. These guys are just Dekes by another name.

Not sure why these ratings say that Du's are creepy or that they hang out with Pi Phi's. They are some of the sweetest guys on campus, they throw the best parties and I always feel safe when I am there. They're very genuine guys and can't say that for many other frats on campus.

These guys need an attitude adjustment. Rich alum, but bad reputation.

Great Fraternity at the UofA. Very fun group of guys always looking to have a good time. The true definition of a gentleman is a DU. Could definitely work on their involvement in the greek community but it has been getting better. I have been going to their parties for almost 4 years now and have never had a problem with any of the members being creepy or perverted, as they tend to be running the party rather than doing the partying. DU would be my top recommendation to any new guy at UofA.

Not impressed with the way that these guys treat guests at their parties. It seems like they show up to campus and community events just to have their photos taken (what little they actually do). I wouldn't recommend this fraternity to anybody.

DU has definitely become a lot more involved this year in Greek and campus events. There was issues with the old DU in prior years, but now they have been making strides to increase involvement and relations with other Greeks. I would recommend DU for any guy going into university. All of their meetings are open and they encourage people to come by to check them out.
