Gofundme? Fund what

Can someone explain what the Gofundme is actually for. 30k seems a little excessive. Claiming to “cover medical expenses, family transportation and lodging, as well as additional familial support” meanwhile healthcare is free, transportation wouldn’t even be 1k, same with lodging. Seems a little fishy and just a cash grab to pay the families as an apology.

Guarantee most of that is going to be pocketed by agd too now that their chapter is at stake. Doubt the families even receive it

It's now been upped to $50k... agreed that they should be handling this themselves since this whole "accident" could have very well been prevented.
