They used part of the proceeds from their philanthropy to pay for their house. Rather than donating to charity, they donated to the AGD Foundation, which covers their house renovations. That's not okay.

Not accurate. The house was sold and then re-purchased by Fraternity Housing Corporation, whose goal is specifically to buy houses and renovate them. Money raised for the AGD foundation would only go to the renovations/rebuilding of a house in the event of an "emergency crisis" such as a chapter house burning down or a natural disaster.

Actually, their housing corporation is a separate entity from their Internationals. The AGD Foundation is, again, a separate organization. Money from one does not go toward another. The Foundation also is a charity. It benefits JRDF and many sororities donate to their Foundation as well (Kappa Kappa Kappa Foundation and Sigma Kappa Foundation).
