Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at Purdue University West Lafayette - PU 1.0 So I’m a freshmen in Pike at Purdue university and one of our rituals was to spread honey and peanut butter on our bodies and then we had to lay down outside of the DG house and wait for the bears inside to come lick it off of us. I really didn’t know that Purdue provided housing for women of that size, however I did learn not to bring peanut butter or honey NEAR the DG house because they go ape**** over it.

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at Purdue University West Lafayette - PU 1.0 Purdue Dg is one of the only sororities on campus that didn’t speak out in support of Jane Doe. The victim blaming is evident in this house and there’s stories to prove it. Dg is so problematic now and this was the final straw. If I was a sister, I definitely wouldn’t feel safe or valued.

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at Purdue University West Lafayette - PU 1.5 I know of at least 2 frats that have banned them and they like to say they associate with Figi for clout even though they refuse to acknowledge them for something that happened years ago. Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at Purdue University West Lafayette - PU 1.0 PNMs if you’re wondering if DG doesn’t a house tour during rush, they don’t and here’s why: Have a friend who went DG and dropped going into senior year (like most girls in the house). She said that the house itself is awful to live in, it’s small, cramped, overcrowded, dirty, and practically falling apart. The bathrooms have mold and the showers look like they’re in a locker room or a prison. The ceilings are the same cheap panels you’d see in a dorm or a classroom and they have horrible water damage and some of them are caving in. The paint is always peeling and it gets everywhere. There’s spiders in the closets too and the windows are thin and badly insulated so lots of bugs get in too. And unfortunately DG doesn’t have enough membership support to fix things or afford regular maintenance (shocker). So yeah go forward at your own risk, because living in DG sounds worse Tark and Owen.
