!! PNM’S !! THIS IS AN HONEST AND TRUTHFUL RANKING. I am tired of sororities trashing on the upper and mid tier houses bc rush is coming up and they feel “threatened” by each other. Most frats like A Phi-they get invited everywhere. The people who trash on A Phi the most are girls in other houses. A Phi is just like any other sorority on campus. Every srat has a few wild girls, a few mean girls, some nice girls, some really smart girls. A house doesn’t represent 1 type of person, that’s impossible. A Phi tends to have a bad rep with other srats because they are generally rated as one of the “top tier” houses. All of the top tier houses get trashed on by other girls (look at the ratings for their houses and what people say about them in the discussions). A Phi is known to have some really rich and pretty girls but every house has those kinds of girls too. The best advice I can give you is that you will be happy in any house-they are all the same (some just get invited to more places than others generally based on their perceived “rank” in the greek community). Go with the house that has girls that you think are similar to your friends/you can see yourself being best friends with these girls. Go with the house that you feel comfortable being in and talking to the girls. Go with the house that you like the most, no matter what people say about it. You will be happy anywhere because all the sororities are so similar. Goodluck ladies!!

The girl who was rushing me kept asking what my parents do for a living and what their income was. I’m sorry but that’s not an appropriate question to ask... especially during rush!!!

Just do a quick google search on "University of Michigan Alpha Phi Recruiting Chair Letter" and you will learn everything you ever wanted to know about Alpha Phi, their recruiting, their priorities as an organization and how the chapters are managed. Probably the most focused on surface items of any house on campus and this plays out at other chapters around the Country. If this is your vibe then all I can say is 'good luck and god bless'! PS For anyone that thinks that 'money doesn't matter at APhi' then think again. Social media of incoming PNMs has all been reviewed and a 'hit list' for recruitment has been drawn up weeks before things even kick off. They don't need to ask about how much money you have and where you are from and what kind of house/houses/cars etc. you have because they already know.

They are very outgoing girls who you will definitely see out at social events. I've heard nothing but good things about their new PC, super interested to see who ends up Aphi this coming semester

Ugh don’t get me started... It’s a bunch of barbies in barbie’s dream house! Girls I have met from here are try hards when it comes to finding men and they are so rude to other woman. PS ladies... being nice is a turn on. Being not nice is a huge turn off.
