Cob spring transfer
by: UTgirlI’m transferring from UT to SMU in the spring of 2027. Would COB be possible and what chapters are likely to do so. I did rush at UT and dropped before preference so I never accepted a bid. I learned about Theta coming back at SMU, and was wondering if they could do COB and if they’re back to PKT like it is here at UT. Would Chi O or DG do COB? Those are the chapters I’m most interested in as a Dallas girl!

Girls that sororities already know get spring bids. They reach out to the ones they are interested in. Nobody knows a spring transfer. Theta needs members so they are actively recruiting and can’t be that picky

As long as it’s not Bouse lol, are they still able to do events and mix and operate like a normal chapter this year? And will being Smu theta legacy matter in the future for other schools or no

What is this crap about the status of being an SMU Theta?
The new Theta's are an odd mix. There are some girls who give off a creepy social-climber-obsessed vibe. Sounds like that could be the perfect sisterhood for you!

LOL what are you imagining? "Ooh, look, an SMU Theta, omg, a Texas PKT, ooohhhhh! LOL, no, doesn't happen. Doesn't happen with any letters from any school. You might think that, as a pnm or a freshman, but that fairytale wears off by around junior year and you realize you didn't get validated that way like you thought. And after graduation most members don't put their letters in their linkedin or bios because it can actually hurt professionally.

Hi, I was just wondering about how theta was doing. The girls I know who are PKT at Texas are a mix of sweet and mean girls. I don’t have much background knowledge of sororities at SMU so i was just curious about what the new theta class was like to see if I’d make friends. 🤷♀️

Ok glad to know, but why wouldn’t they take a transfer?
I’m not formally rushing so idk how it would make a difference since it’s been a semester. If theta isn’t back up to PKT, where is it at right now? Mouse?
