Beta Party. Where was everybody?

Did you all go to the Beta party last week? I know you didn't, because none of you were there. When I pulled up to the house, mobs were literally spawning. I accidentally looked at an Enderman and I heard the static, but luckily I was able to find a place that was only 2 blocks high, so it was too tall. The sun came up and it teleported away.

Funny story. it turns out, THE PARTY WAS TOMORROW! OMG this is so embarrassing. It was all a huge misunderstanding. Moral of the story is to make sure your base is well lit before you leave, you never know what can spawn in there.
