how long to stay?

A question I've seen a ton is about how long to stay at each zone day? I see varying answers.

Please clarify, but from my understanding, roughly 30-45 minutes depending on the vibe, but if they ask you to stay (and the vibe is good and you want to rush) stay for a bit longer. This right?
