I'm an independent at Samford, although I did get a bid in rush from a couple places, I decided it just wasn't for me. But I wish I had. I'm in an honors program at school, and several are in Greek life. 3 of whom are sigma chis. At first, I assumed they were the only nice ones since the fraternity as a whole is really popular- I thought they'd be like the douchebag cool kids in high school. But they've let me hang out with them a few times, and they're so much nicer than I would have expected

Love these guys! Just like anywhere else they have their diamonds in the ruff and their weak links, but overall these guys are so much less "Samford-y" stereotypical and so much closer to how guys are in the real world.......which means a lot if you understand how Samford guys are

The "Independent" guy said it best.. their pledge class recently threw an IMPROMPTU bonfire that over 100 students came too. There is simply no contesting that and people had an amazing time. People definitely want to hang out with them, and it was cool how they weren't exclusive about inviting people, like so many people claim. All bad reviews against them are simply jealousy as every bid that they gave out was accepted.

You can tell someone is jealous when they go out of their way to post nine bad reviews in the same day. This is a great fraternity at Samford, and the #1 fraternity nationally. This is not opinion based, but a well known fact. This is nothing more than a case of pure jealously, look at the times recent rankings have been reported. Do not fool yourselves based on these ranks from one obviously envious person.

One of the best at Samford, these guys know how to have a good time. Sigma Chi and Sigma Nu are the only fraternities worth considering as everything else is merely a social club, rather than an actual fraternity.

Sigma chi's are the guys you want to hang with. Not just at Samford, but on every campus. They are the most awesome and down to earth guys. They are gentlemen and know how to take care of women. Sig Chi for life!

They gained the reputation of just being a rich, arrogant fraternity through some classes that have recently gone through. People either loved them or hated them; however, the past few pledge classes have been really good, and most would agree they are the #1 frat on campus. Most of them party, but they also are genuine guys. It is the most like a state school on campus. Definitely would recommend them
