worth it?

Is open recruitment worth doing in the fall as a sophomore? Are there a lot of chances for girls to get bids or is it only a few that each sorority gives out? I don't know if I could handle primary recruitment again, but I'd love to join a sisterhood, I just want to know if its even worth trying again.
