BYX is definitely a fraternity, a national one and one of the biggest here. They do pretty much everything IFC does, including socials with the Panhellenic sororities. We all take part in their Island Week and they always support our events that include fraternities.

Like any fraternity, BYX is a great fit for some and not for others. Nationally, they're a Christian fraternity, and while I think they're allowed to join IFC, the chapter here hasn't. I love them and so do a lot of other sorority women. We've had mixers and these guys are the total package and treat us with respect. Some on here say they aren't that involved, but I see them doing a lot of things. Their Rave and Island Party are a lot of fun and hundreds of people show up. LOVE BYX!

BYX is a unique frat on campus; their 2nd thursdays are pretty fun to go to. The rave was also incredible.

Super fun guys. They know how to make anything fun when others would just be lame. Love spending time with them and my entire sorority loves them!!

They a Christian organization and are not IFC but are some of the most genuine guys at UT. They are in the old PIKE house on the row and even though they have only been on campus for four years are one the largest fraternities on campus.

BYX apparently has a house on row, but just until the other fraternity comes back. They are not IFC, so they can not fully participate in this that IFC chapters do. While they may be somewhat popular, they are not a top tier fraternity, and I would not call them frat.
