Delta Zeta - ΔΖ Sorority Ratings at UPITT

yes they are a bunch of pretty girls and that can be intimidating at first but i am in another sorority and have become friends with many of the DZs here at Pitt. If you give them a chance you will find out they are actually super nice and down to earth. and you can't rank their sisterhood so terribly if you aren't a sister- the girls i know are all close and their sisterhood seems strong to me! and honestly we can't hate on their social life they're so fun

First the good news: Unquestionably the hottest girls on campus. Always out and about; very visible. Strong sisterhood. The bad news: If Regina George and her Plastics went to Pitt, they'd be Delta Zetas. They are cliquish; don't associate much with members of other sororities. Individually, most of them are very nice but when they're in a group they're snooty. Still, I don't get all the hate I'm seeing here. Either guys who wanted to get with them but got shut down or girls who they cut

They're pretty strong, focused and involved. I love the ones in my major!

Maybe my experience hasn't been the same as other group's experience but I think they're strong all around. Last year's pledge class was a little iffy at first but they turned out good. I think they'll continue to stay on top after this fall's recruitmet. And it's not like being hot is a bad thing. Sheesh.

It seems like everyone is focusing on only their looks and, while they are a hot looking group, there are actually a lot of nice women in Delta Zeta. They have a good sisterhood and are very visible on campus.

Come on now, too much hating going on toward my girls! The more erudite among you are thinking, "Do I want to be a part of a nice, plain group who flies under the radar and nobody pays attention to?" Or do you want to join a group of sisters who never have a dull moment, are dominant on the social scene, love to be together, actually find time to study and, the icing on the cake, their milkshakes bring the boys to the yard ;) Delta Zeta is a lot of things, but most of all it's FUN!

Lovely bunch of women. There seem to be a fair number of detractors on here but, like the commenter downthread, I recommend that PNMs go into recruitment with an open mind and an open heart. Not every place is a fit for everyone but when you find that place, you'll know it!

Maybe I'm biased here because my next roomie is a DZ but all of this stuff I'm reading on here about them going downhill is just nonsense. So many of them are just drop dead gorgeous and, not to be pervy, but they have incredible figures. Also, they are friendly when you see them out and always the most fun at a party. The one thing I've read on here that is true is that they tend to stick together when they go out. But that's the case with ANY group of friends, why should they be different?
