who gets cobs and snap bids?

So I have two houses left today for prefs but I’m only interested in one. I’ll be happy if I get a bid from one of them, but if not I don’t plan on joining the other I have left. Who is eligible for COBs and snap bids? If I got dropped after house tours am I eligible for either or did I have to make it to prefs? I had seven left for house tours and I really liked 4 of them but I only got one of those four back.

If you trust your pi chi tell her. A lot goes on behind the scenes between prefs and bid day. The computer algorithm is sketchy. Or tell one of the recruitment vp’s.

It depends on the year. Most the top and mid sororities don’t do them

Not true. It depends year to year but top houses absolutely do snap bids. It’s got to do with the computer algorithm and houses that tend to rush the same girls.
