What is considered a low GPA and what will get you dropped?

Below 3.0 will probably get you get from many houses

Chi o,, pi phi and kappa all grade cut, they won’t take anyone under 3.3 but often will cut if they have bad gpa and aren’t well rounded. Basically, if you have bad grades, you better be super involved
