I LOVE alpha phi. I am a proud member of Alpha Phi at UConn, and in the new member class. This sorority has the worst reputation, even worse of the bottom tier sororities simply due to jealousy. I almost chose a different sorority during recruitment because of this sorority's reputation, but am BEYOND happy I took a chance and chose it. The girls are not only accepting and hilarious, they are down to earth and fun to be around. They respect intelligence, and would never want another sister to be in a bad position. While there are many gorgeous girls, there are also many girls who would not fit the "hot" stereotype because alpha phi looks for more than just a pretty face - we want GENUINE girls. These women ROCK and I'm so proud to be an Alpha Phi!!!!

These girls honestly need to give up what they call a "sisterhood" and call it what it is... hot girls wanted. They recruit off looks alone, even taking in girls with low GPAs because of their "Facebook pictures" and how pretty their new members are. Lol when are you gonna learn that hotness doesn't mean success it just means shallowness

Was at a party and couldn't help but notice how many dirty looks they were giving other girls the entire night. Many girls give off a judgey vibe and seem to think they're superior. Have also met many sweet girls in it.

Not sure why they get so much hate! I'm not in Greek life but if I was, I want to be in alpha phi! They're awesome girls and always a lot of fun to be around whether we're studying or partying!

What a lot of people don't realize is all of the great things this sorority and the members of it do. They have the president of the entire UConn student body. They have ladies involved allllll over campus. They cohosted a drag show, showing how welcoming they are of all. There are numerous examples, but only allowed to type so much.

Their new members seem terrified of sisters and complain about sorority life already having been involved for 3 weeks. Individually they have a few great girls but we all know the 4 of them and besides that who else is actually in alpha phi?
