Southwestern University just introduced a new Associate Director for Fraternity and Sorority Life, and honestly, my first instinct was the same one most Greeks probably have when administration shuffles around FSL staff: mild panic, followed by a lot of "what does this mean for us?" vibes. Nobody tells you that initiation is gonna hit different than you expect. You spend weeks hearing about it secondhand, building it up in your head like some cinematic turning point, and then it actually happens - and the weird part is, it kind of is one.
