New member class
by: WonderingAnyone have an idea on what the new member class will be for each sorority? I heard that there were 3,000 girls who registered. Is that true???

I think the actual number was 1496:
Pi Beta Phi: 183
Alpha Phi: 183
Alpha Chi Omega: 183
Delta Gamma: 181
Kappa Kappa Gamma: 181
Chi Omega: 179
Kappa Alpha Theta: 177
Gamma Phi Beta: 173
Tri Delta: 56

according to bouder panhel 1891 pnm’s in 2025 so 341 girls either dropped or were dropped which seems really high???

If 1,891 PNMs participated last year:
1,496 ÷ 1,891 = 79.1%
So approximately 79% of PNMs ended up in a sorority, while about 21% did not.
That means roughly:
1,496 received/accepted bids
395 did not end up placed
79% placement rate fits pretty well within the typical national range for competitive Panhellenic recruitment.

Most pnm's who don't get bids are the drop outs. They don't get asked back to certain houses so they drop instead of sticking with the chapters where they're wanted.
If all the pnm's who thought they were too good for certain sororities would just stick with it and take a bid then their new member class would actually be all that. They would recruit an even better class for their house the next year, and then be running their chapter the year after.

Girls need to get over the idea that they are too good for certain houses. Everyone complains about our huge mc’s, but there is no way we can add more sororities until everyone is at quota.
