this sorority is so fake lmao. this place claims to have no money and is trying to force people into having to pay more. the funny part is that the exec took money from the sorority budget to pay for their exec sweatshirts. yet somehow there isn't enough money for other things that's for everybody?

It’s honestly wild how quickly anonymous posts turn into “facts.” If something as serious as repeatedly referring to a new member as “the black one” actually happened, that is not GreekRank gossip level behavior that is Panhellenic level misconduct. That would warrant formal reporting, documentation, and an investigation. Not a vague anonymous comment followed by “don’t believe them when they deny it.” Throwing around allegations of racism anonymously without proof doesn’t protect POC it cheapens real claims and makes it harder for actual issues to be taken seriously. If people genuinely cared about creating a better Panhellenic community, they would go through the proper channels instead of hiding behind a screen and escalating things with zero accountability. You don’t have to like a chapter. That’s fine. But fabricating or exaggerating events to damage reputations isn’t activism. If something truly happened, report it. If it didn’t, stop weaponizing serious accusations for drama.

They are all super nice girls, and they may not be top house but are truly themselves. I have a friend who is in Phi Mu, and she only has ever had good things to say about them.

All of these ranks are contradictory, first they aren’t diverse, now they are too diverse, they are tokenizing all of their POC members, but also, they do not post them enough. You can’t have it both ways. Clearly, someone is making posts on here who hates this chapter/ maybe got dropped by them and is bitter.

this chapter doesn't care about POC. they only want them to tokenize them. other than that they couldn't care less and treat POC in the chapter badly.

At bid day (in the fall) one of the new members was black and a lot of people referred to her as "the black one". Never by her actual name. After that she never came back. A good way to make someone feel uncomfortable!

You can tell the girls in Phi Mu are truly in it for the sisterhood and actually care about one another, rather than their ranking or reputation among frat guys. All of the girls I've met in Phi Mu are so sweet too.

Respectfully speaking, phi mu is not a top tier sorority. They are nice people, but that does not make them top. No hate to them though.

I strongly urge you to think twice before joining this chapter. The executive board appears to prioritize their own interests over the well-being of the members. While they claim the chapter is facing financial struggles, they somehow manage to fund professional photoshoots and branded merchandise for themselves. Members are often kept in meetings until they agree with what the executive board believes is “best,” rather than being given a genuine voice in decisions. It’s especially frustrating considering that the chapter is funded by its members, yet those same members are not treated with the respect they deserve. The overall treatment of members is deeply disappointing and concerning.
