Psi Upsilon - ΨΥ Fraternity Ratings at UC

You always hear about people having dark and weird nights that start with Psi U parties and people always think it's just because their parties get wild. But now things are starting to make more sense in an unfortunate way. It's sad.

Enjoy the calm before the storm while it lasts boys. Once the allegations are proven, you will fall off the cliff following in Alpha Delt's footsteps. Tchao.

A good fraternity but on a questionable trajectory. They had the worst second pledge class out of the big five (about half of their kids had rushed sig chi and DU and not gotten bids the previous year) and just graduated a great class. They probably won't be great come fall and most girls seem to like Fiji best and then DU. Still not a bad option.

I'm unaffiliated with Greek life, but I just finished my first year at UChicago. Psi U is definitely regarded as the most arrogant frat. Also, I don't think the guys are that successful -- I think DU and Sig Chi brothers consistently secure top job offers. Psi U is more or less average in that respect. Some of the guys are attractive/athletic, but again, the girls in my house always say DU and FIJI triumph in that category. Just my outside observations...

Ever seen animal house? How there's a rowdy "party" frat (delta house) and a "dbag" frat (omega house) next door? Fiji or phi delt is delta house, psi u is omega house. Good house but arrogant jerks. Not nice to girls who aren't "six and above" as I overheard a few of them saying.

As much as people like to hate on psi, they are undoubtably the best fraternity on campus. Most athletic, most attractive, best connected, best physical house, best parties (debatable), most wealthy (also debatable). Also just don't seem to care about this website, unlike DU or sig chi (who self rank constantly). The only frats I respect are Psi U and FIJI (the two top houses) as well as phi delt (not as good, but at least they don't care). This is the most honest actual ranking on this website

Actually feels like a fraternity and not a bunch of dudes hanging out together. Fijis are the only others that can come close to saying that

love mixing with them! they're all so cute and extremely fun to be around

To add to the money topic, the reason these guys are always uploading pictures with champagne and sparklers is because they piggybacked off three or four guys who paid for everyone and have now graduated. They have fewer rich kids than sig or DU (psi is lots of athletes from middle class backgrounds) but use Facebook mobile uploads to act like they do. Kind of pathetic but still a solid athlete frat.
