In 2019 a couple Gphi girls spilled their drink on me on purpose at a party and it was really obvious. Next time I saw them was on Wednesday when they’re tabling by the tower, and I recognized the same girls that spilled their drink on me. As I walked by because I had to in order to get to my class, these girls started laughing and looking at me. It was so degrading and I just felt like crap. I don’t know about some of these posts here but trust me some of the bullying posts are real because I also know close friends that went through way worst than my story I’m telling you. But it’s not my story to tell since you wanted personal accounts. Please join a different sorority because although there may be a few nice girls in gphi, this sorority does not have a good rep with the rest of UCR although they themselves think they’re the best. The rest of UCR sees them in a pretty low light. Just thought I would share

Yeah they are. I don’t want to name them just for privacy reasons but there a lot of girls like that. I know not everyone is mean like that but a majority are because I have been there when other girls from Gphi have done worst things to my friend. So just know there are soo many of them. Also a girl from UCR has made a video about her experience with gphi and why she quit although it is like 1 or 2 years old. But you can check that out. I’ve seen it and it’s accurate from what my friends and I have experienced. I know there are people that have had great experiences and that’s awesome but know there is a huge proportion of individuals who have had seriously horrible experiences with gphi and these aren’t just some girls, it’s a lot of them. Also they will all stare at you in class and just look at you in such a demeaning way because they all sit together. I always hope I don’t have class with them lol

I’ve met a lot of girls from GPHI since my friends are in it anyways, and can’t talk about past classes but they really do be smart though. Very well-rounded women, and it’s unfortunate that most of the comments are dragging y’all down. Great philanthropy, highest GPA, and strong social media presence. Also, from what I’ve seen this year, imo the best apparel.

The comment i made earlier got deleted and I think we all know who’s responsible for that. I shared my horrible experience with girls I knew from the sorority, and why am I even shocked that Gphi would take it out so they won’t look bad. Keep taking out my comments gphi and I’ll keep making sure I add them on because u guys should not get away with bullying and belittling other girls.

They are so friendly and kind. Are very supportive with academics and leadership roles. Would highly suggest going Gphi.

i am a gphi at another school and i came here after watching that youtube video on the girl was in gphi here a few years ago at ucr. i would like to make it clear that this is not a reflection of all gphis! this is one girl who had a bad experience with one pledge class. her video does not reflect the entire sorority, hopefully this doesnt reflect the current gphis at ucr either. but i just want to make it clear that gphis are as awful as she made them sound in her video.

I’m genuinely curious if anyone here have personally experienced bullying from gphi members from recent classes and if so can you guys share? Also only personal accounts and not something you guys have heard. I am looking to rush next year, and I have made friends that joined gphi and they love it? I don’t even know lol
