Sororities by instate and oos

This is mostly accurate but GPhi and Zeta need to be swapped.

GPHI swap with PiPhi and DG should be ranked ahead of DZ.

PiPhi needs to be moved way down and AGD also needs to be moved down. These two sororities are so overhyped on here. PiPhi does nothing but look pretty, go to bars, and hook up. AGD is just weird!

This is one of the best ranks I have seen on here. I might would move one or two sororities up or down but pretty accurate for the most part. Pnm’s need to know in state and out of state. It does make a huge difference during recruitment.

Finally an accurate one

This is mostly accurate, but Zeta would not be top of OOS. They had a huge COB this spring. The most important thing though is that PNMs see which sororities are more out of state and which ones are more in state and what it means when referred to as out of state and in state.

When people talk about “out-of-state” in Auburn recruitment discussions, they’re often using the term more broadly than its literal meaning. It includes true out-of-state students, but it can also refer to girls from small rural Alabama towns who don’t come from the traditional recruitment pipelines. It may even include girls from the major pipeline schools who are intentionally looking outside the usual houses their classmates and older friends join.

By contrast, “in-state” in recruitment conversations is referring to the established pipeline system, primarily girls from the large private and well-connected public schools in Birmingham, Montgomery, and Mobile that have long-standing relationships, family connections, and recruitment networks within many chapters.

Obviously there are exceptions, and every chapter takes members from all backgrounds. But when people discuss recruitment trends, they’re usually referring less to a girl’s actual state of residence and more to whether she comes from one of the traditional recruitment pipelines or from outside that system.

So glad this has been posted. There is a pretty significant difference in the in state and out of state sororities.
