by: WDEFraternities this rush season most likely to give out shotgun bids: GO!

Theta Chi only has around 20 pledges right now. Fiji is 40+, KA and Beta are around 30, don't know where Sigma Nu and SAE stand. Point being, this whole Theta Chi throwing out shotgun bids is a false assumption by their many haters on this pointless website. No top 10 fraternity shotgun bids because they don't need to, including Theta Chi. This whole discussion thread is irrelevant.
#8 by: KA is
KA by far was shot gunning the most this year They were basically done by end of June. But in reality rushees have all been rushing the same fraternities this year - SNu, Beta, FIJI, Theta Chi , KA and SAE. So those fraternities are going to be filling up the fastest. This thread must have been written by someone not in one of those fraternities. The fall will tell it all and how good the pledge glasses are. Word is that all of those have very good pledge classes. SAE is struggling but will pull a solid group.

Fraternities like Fiji, SNU, KA, Beta, etc. don't need to shotgun bids. They have large attendance at all of their rush parties and for the most part they only invite and give bids to the guys they want. Other fraternities that are right on the edge of popularity tend to be the fraternities that shotgun more often because they need the size in hopes of becoming relevant.

You can't mention shot gun bidding without Lambda Chi. It's obvious when they got off probation they had to desperately build numbers fast. They took an entire pledge class that got one of Auburns best houses kicked off without any real research on the kids they were bidding and have been slinging out bids this summer. They deserve more criticism than they get

You do realize that at every rush event SNU and KA have 120+ kids attending, so even if they bid 15 or 18 guys per an event, they are still being more selective than anyone else on campus. Those two fraternities simply have the best reputations, and therefore the large majority of rushees will attend their parties early. And why if everyone even talking about this right now? Wait a freaking month and it will be clear who has good pledge classes and who doesn't. The day Farm House is more selective than any of the historic "top" fraternities will signify that Auburn's greek life is dead.
