dg, theta, aopi
by: PNMI was just admitted to UF but my friend is a sophomore there and she said that DG, THETA, and AOPI are all basically the same. Not top tier, but definitely up there. Is that true? If not, what makes them different? Thanks!

I am going to have to disagree with the poster above me. I think it goes DG, Aopi and then Theta. DG and Aopi are considered low top tier and theta is upper middle. Aopi and dg have had very good looking pledge classes while theta is kinda going down in looks. Aopi has the best sisterhood of the three and I'm going to say theta by far has the worst sisterhood of them all. If you go on their page or through this website you will see that. I also live with two and they are always catty with other people in their sorority and really cliquey. All of these houses have the same vibe. I also think you're way off on social calendar. Aopi and dg have some of the best (they party a lot and hard, lots of socials) while theta has socials but only pre's or unofficial parties with top tier frats. Your friend most be a theta or something bc they are not ranked with the other two. People usually rank them with piphi and dz, which is still upper middle but not quite top tier. Hope this helps!

No Theta, everyone besides girls in your own chapter know you're not top tier. Get over it and stop with the tier climbing.

No. Home not Chi 0..... CHI O is the same as Theta, DZ. and AOPI. DG is the top of the middle.

I would definitely consider all 3 of these houses top tier. Low top tier but definitely top tier. All of them have socials with sigma chi, sae, pike etc. yes, aopis tend to gravitate towards phi delts..just like DGs gravitate towards pikes and theta with sigma chi. Also all three of these houses were invited on the exclusive spring break trip 2015 hosted by two top Frats.

This is so untrue.. Thetas social calendar is awesome. I am in AXO but my roommate is a theta and she is never not going out. They had things with sae, sigma chi, theta chi, KA, ATO, Pi lam, and phi delt all within the last two weeks! They never have things with kappa sig or delt though which kinda sucks because those are pretty good Frats too. And j think they've only done one or two things with Pi kapp this year which sucks because they are my favorite frat and I'd consider them a really good time!

DG AND AOPI THE SAME...TOP OF THE MIDDLE. NEITHER ARE TOP TIER HOUSES. DG USED TO BE TOP TIER HOUSE, BUT NO MORE... THEY HAVE REALLY DROPPED IN THE TIERS. AOPI HAS NEVER BEEN TOP TIER , AND NEVER WILL BE.

What a joke...none of these houses are top tier, especially Theta... Dg is top of the middle, then AOPI, then Theta( in the middle of the middle tier). It is a long way to the top for these houses...... it would take a miracle for these houses to end in the top tier....... Theta is the same as Chi-O, but Chi o) is much nicer house and sisters....... I would go to Chi O over Theta. Would go DG over AOPI.. top houses ADPI, ZTA, KD

yep! Odds are you won't, even if you're a great fit and super pretty, there's 17 chapters. I focused on chapters that I thought would take me and they all dropped me and I found my home somewhere I assumed would forget about me after the first day.

Theta is not on par with DG. DG has fallen hard these past few years but still remains low upper tier. Idk how honestly, they don't participate or are involved in much. Theta and aopi are tied/ aopi may be a little higher but theta is definitely a force to reckon with. Their pc this year was stellar. Aopi got more girls from Orlando this year and less from Boca and Miami

many choose to ignore or disbelieve it. KD, DG, ADPI, and DDD all lost girls to theta this year. As did Deeph and Pi Phi. Theta however did lose many girls to AOPi. And I mean a lot! People choose to not acknowledge it but Theta is currently upper middle tier and is quickly breaking into low top tier.

That has to be a joke right?? You are most definitely a theta. You guys had a HORRIBLE new PC. I was looking at pictures of them and all of them are subpar, in no comparison to AOPI and DG. Keep dreaming theta....

My gf is a theta. She preffed at ADPi, theta, and DG. She chose theta. Idk about the others but she put theta as her first choice.

Why don't you get the full story before you spread rumors. That girl that was "forced to drop" had to drop because she claimed that she had never rushed before but actually was a Theta at UCF and was kicked out for her bad actions. So she shouldn't have even been accepted to begin with. This girl dropped because she shouldn't have been allowed to rush anyway! Also, idk where theta got this "catty" stereotype from because it's far from it. They are the strongest sisterhood of anything!

That's not the girl I'm talking about. That must mean you kicked two girls out lmao. Just look at thetas Instagram and compare that to DG and Aopis and then tell me they're on par with them... Don't let theta trolls on here try to tell you they're top bc if you ask anyone in Greek life (that's not a theta) they'll tell you otherwise.
