sorority rush

Has anyone rerushed as a sophomore and gotten into a house they were cut from as a freshman? Even if they don't have connections in the house?

I rerushed sophomore year and got called back to a lot of houses that cut me the first time and ended up in a sorority that cut me first round freshman year. It always goes completely different

Yes. I got cut by the house I wanted as a freshman. Just went thru rush again, got to know the sisters over the last year. I did get a bid from that same house that dropped me my freshman year. Moral of story... do not give up, try again.... and do not settle for a house you do not like, you will end up not being HAPPY. I am glad I tried again.
