common space
by: SoWe all no having no house sucks (well, we don't know, but we can imagine). Does Gamma Phi Beta have a common space or plans to get one until they build a house (or rents FIJI's because we all know they've fallen hard)?

I'm not quite sure what we will do in Fall meaning if we will continue to rent space or have a centered common space. In my opinion it will probably stay on campus just because everyone can get somewhere on campus! But dinner wise its catered and we have the same things other sororities do with frats announcing and speakers at Chapter. The only difference is there is no central "house." Which is coming in 2017 btw :) yay

So, I keep hearing the magic number 2017, but haven't seen any movement towards a house. Say, announcing an architect, site, fundraising, etc. Which I want to see, or else I'm starting to doubt 2017 - but I don't want to. I want to see lots of new houses coming to row so UF can be a huge campus for Greeks lie Alabama is considered to be

Dinners at restaurants? Or in spaces with catering? Or both? O way more interesting stuff?
I know the goal for a house isn't too far off, but people keep saying it's not an achievable timeline. Naturally I became curious if you gals had a plan in place for something else. Would you rent a bigger place (off campus) next year? Or is it better to stay on campus?
{I'm just annoyingly curious about how colonies work.}
