Well, it gives you some extra attention and consideration. But it does nothing if you are not a fit for that particular sorority. Chapters differ widely from school to school and no one is "great everywhere" contrary to what you hear. Sometimes a P.N.M. will be a legacy to several sororities and still end up pledging a completely different group. And there's nothing wrong with that. Good luck finding your new home!

Mmmmmm it also depends on the house. A lot of houses don't care at all. A lot may be obligated to keep you for one or two rounds to give legacies a change. A few (really just ADPi) will bid almost every legacy. Don't tell the other houses you're a legacy somewhere unless you're trying to say you're only aiming there honestly.

They give legacies extra attention but do drop a good many as well. I think they took around 20 in a PC of over 80.
