sorority rush for sophomores?

by: kneesocks

How much harder is it for sophomores to rush without any alumni recommendations?

Take it from me, it's not any more difficult. I rushed as a freshman and dropped recruitment right before prefs because I was skeptical if Greek life was for me. Rushed again as a sophomore when I joined my house, and I was invited back to almost identical houses during each round as I was my freshman year. Actually, sophomore year was a little better because I was a lot more sure of myself and a lot more confident (confidence and being true to yourself is the key to recruitment). Hope this helps!

Houses have to take sophomores. I too dropped out my freshman year. Got the house I really wanted!

They help but it won’t keep you from getting a bid. Good luck
