2025-2026 Greek Life

I've been waiting for a post that recognizes that there are no legitimate “top” houses as every house will have similar groups of girls and every opinion is subjective. I’m really glad it seems that PNMs this year were trying to find a right fit instead of chasing a reputation. All of the houses did great and met quota and I am looking forward to building a stronger community this year that is more uplifting and supportive of one another. I’ve noticed that a lot of the top schools don’t engage on Greekrank or sites like this at all or in the negative way we have. Schools with “top tier” Greek life have moved away from ranking each other and instead will give general vibes of a place like “churchy” “fun” “smart” etc but keep it positive which makes more people want to join Greek. Numbers at UF have been going down over the past few years as Greek life becomes outdated and antiquated. Hopefully we can turn it around and bring it back to what it originally was supposed to be, a supportive environment of young adults making career connections and helping each other get ahead.

There are indeed too houses at UF and all other schools in the country. So what .Just like there are middle tier house and bottom houses. I have no problem with ranking or tiers. Only unsecured people have an issue with ranking or tiers. I joined my house because I felt a connection . I would join by bottom tier house again and again . Pleaese grow up !

Girlie, here’s the truth. The tiers thing means nothing. No one gives a crap about this after you leave college. Maybe you’re in a lower tier and you work your ass off and you’re pre med or pre law. Those top tier girls will be calling you at your job and will suddenly be your best friend in hopes of a connection after you slay grad school. I’ve seen it happen over and over. Smart girls always finish first. So don’t worry your pretty little head. Do your thing in your nerdier sorority and let karma play itself out, because it will!

Ummm... I am in a "top" house because we are on here constantly telling everyone our house is "top"...lots of pressure form our house and alumni. I can tell you UF does not have popular crowds and not popular crowds. It is a really big school, we are adults, and most of us have lots of friends. My friends in houses that are not forced to self rank on here, are at all of the same frat parties/tailgates that I am at (even though people on here would call their houses bottom which is so immature).This is not a 1980's movie about high school. There is no nerdy or cool kid houses. I think the point the person who posted the original post is trying to make is that Greek life is not as popular as a whole as it used to be and instead of hyping up our own houses probably smarter to hype up Greek life as a whole.
