Stop play acting that you are a new member on greekrank. Any actual new member knows that they signed a binding agreement after pref that obligates them to whichever house offers them a bid from the one or two they put on their card. The agreement is a contract for one calendar year, meaning they can certainly drop before initiation but aren't eligible for another bid until next fall's recruitment.

NOTE: There is NO guarantee that another house will even consider bidding girls when drop/quit the original house they decided to join. That will be one major issue that may hurt them. It will be up to the house(s) to decide whether or not to move forward with a bid(s).

It's not hush hush it's just a sorority matter for them to handle. What are you expecting? Classes called off? Fox51 on the scene? A press conference? A Netflix special? A personal invitation to a meeting with Landry to discuss? If you're not in that sorority then move along.
