Did you really just say all top tier girls are insecure and karma will catch up with them? Not in a top tier, but that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. When you have chapters with 200-300 women, there is no such thing as "all" members being anything.

No. You will have plenty of socials and if you are involved in organizations outside of just the srat, you'll have connections and social opportunities there You get out what you put in...honestly, anyone that would label you a loser over a house choice is probably not the kind of person you'd want to socialize with anyhow.

honestly just go where it feels right... what would you rather? being in a "lower" sorority (which can change but also why does it matter) where you feel like you fit in and can be yourself, or being facey just to get into a higher tier sorority for status and having to perform every day to be someone you're not

I’m a PNM. I ranked two top tier in my top 5, two mid and one low. Because I liked them best. I struggled when I did my pref because I had a top and felt swayed to go with clout, but I truly liked a (topish-mid and a bottom best). I decided to pref what I felt best and not based on rank. I’ll be happy with either house. I don’t think anyone cares about rank after rush and if they do, they suck as people tbh lol
