I thought there were only 5 but now most say there are actually 3. What's the real deal?

The top SRATS make the top FRATS. There are no top FRATS until HC pairing. At least that is what is the unwritten creed says.

There are three, but if you stretch it there are five. Just look at the HC pairs. They correspond to the top 5 frat houses too.

I also rushed this fall. We all knew they were the best and so did everyone that rush. We were all hoping to get invited back!

The top houses hang out with the top frats. Hence there are 5-6 top houses
