Does Weight Matter?

I’m planning on rushing a sorority at UF, but I’m a size 8. Does size matter if I want to get into a good/top sorority?

Adpi, Zta and Kd have lots of girls that are a size 8! They are hot and work out!

Weight doesn’t matter at all. You could be a 0 or a 12+ and could get into any sorority as long as you get along with them.

I am a true top. I will be a Senior this fall. My actual little sister is one year younger than me. She rushed her freshman year, she was 40 pounds overweight. My house did not give her a bid. She lost the weight and rushed her Sophomore year. She got a bid! Weight does not matter in the bottom tiers . It certainly does in the top and middle tiers. Perception is everything,

They do get bids but it’s typically lower tier unless you are an in house legacy or have good friends in the house that want you

sadly it does matter. i know plenty of girls who had sisters rush and the prettier or skinnier girl got into a higher ranked srat
