frat ranks don't really matter much at uf

For guys rushing at UF this fall, I've got some good news and some bad news. The bad news is, only about 70-80 of you are gonna get into a top frat. The good news is, if you're looking to party, have fun, roll with a crew and date a hot girl, you're probably gonna have a blast no matter which fraternity you join. Don't believe me? Let me give you some facts and numbers. First the numbers:
1. There are currently 25 active frats at UF. Compare that to FSU and UNF where there are only like 14-16 frats. So it's much easier to get into a top or mid tier fraternity than other places, because there are more of them.
2. There are actually more women than men at UF. The place is 55% chicks.
2. The avg frat has 110 actives, the avg sorority has 230 actives.
3. Thus, there are currently almost twice as many sorority girls on
campus as fraternity guys.
Lets add some facts:
A. Girls at UF are hot, smoking hot. I'd say the hottest
non-athlete GDIs at UF are not as good looking as a lot
of the low tier sorority girls at this school.
B. So what if there are some Tri Delts and KD's who won't date you if
you're not in a top tier fraternity? Oh No! Boo Hoo! Alpha Phi,
XO, Dz, Phi Mu, etc. are all chaulk full of beautiful girls who
will give your sorry azzes a chance.
C. Frats are in charge of their own social calendar, throw their own
events and don't have to wait around to be invited to parties like
sororities do. So regardless of which frat you're in you are going
to have all the same tailgates, formals and parties as everyone
else.
D. "But wait, what about formals??" You say while trying on your favorite pair of cargo shorts. Yes, many fraternities like Pi Lam or Kappa Sig don't end up pairing with a homecoming date every year. But I guarantee you they'll still be raging with sorority girls that week just like everyone else. Most of you will join a fraternity that gets consistent pairings anyway. Besides, there's one sorority left for a homecoming pairing, so it's still up in the air as to who's gonna do what.
Here's the bottom line. By all means, rush the fish. But if it doesn't work out there the first night, all is not lost. Your Uncle Buck knows you will be happily surprised with the house you end up in.
P.S. - the only ones who care about ranks on this site are catty sorority girls and beeaatchy delts.

Which is weird because they’re nowhere near the complete bottom according to most rankings on this site

A non-bottom sorority is a huge opportunity for frats that don’t normally court for homecoming to get a pairing this year and make a name for themselves. Why aren’t FIJI, DU, TKE, AGR stepping up? Even Delta Sig got a good pairing and they just got a house last semester

small houses like DU, TKE, etc. just wouldn’t be able to afford a paired homecoming. plus DU has what, 30 brothers? to a sorority’s 200+ sisters? it’s just not realistic

I sure hope this is just someone trying to make delta sig look like they’re self ranking. How do they have a good pairing? SK is literally the lowest ranked sorority at UF

I’m just trying to not be a jerk to sigma kappa my guy, how about you chill out and stop feeling threatened by a little positivity towards another frat

4 of the 7 unpaired frats rn (snu, agr, ks and pilam) have the manpower and the funds to be able to court aephi. You could argue that ks and pilam are concerned about their “image” but that still leaves two very viable frats

It’s not unrealistic, zbt is with phi mu and zbt is only like 30 guys as well...
