rushing sororitys from out of state
by: help meWhat’s the difference rushing from in state vs out of state? Will I be at a disadvantage if I don’t know anyone before coming in August?

If you don’t know anybody, you will likely be dropped from the top houses by the end of round 2. But don’t let that discourage you- mid and bottom houses are still great despite what this site says. It’s though as it is to rush at a huge picnic school- especially if there’s nobody on the inside hyping you up. I say rush your sophomore year, and take your time to meet people in Greek life. Nothing wrong with rushing as a sophomore- tons of people do it. You don’t want to sell yourself short bc you don’t know anybody or discourage yourself if your dropped.

Tho i did know girls in various sororitys, the house i ended up at was actually the house i knew the least about and had only a handful of girls from my city. it's considered a ~top~ sorority here so don't worry, not knowing anyone won't kill your chances if they're interested in you!!

No Tri Delt , Aoii, and DG are not top tier. The true top houses are Adpi, Kd and Zeta. You did not get a bid from the top 3.
