How does the voting and scoring process work during rush? I’ve heard it varies from school to school

It varies from chapter to chapter like some take a mean of your conversation and use that, some do an entire chapter vote, and some submit it individually and that's all. So it really just depends honestly

Just be nice and interesting. Wear an outfit you feel comfortable in. HAVE A PERSONALITY no one wants to talk to a wall. Do something interesting over the summer so u have something to talk about

what exactly happens? im not in a sorority but I rushed so I'll never be able to know. what happens after the doors are shut?

The process is a secret and you don’t find out how it works in your sorority until you are initiated. I have no idea how other houses vote besides mine. I do know that some give legacies an automatic invite to round2. Don’t worry about how it works just enjoy meeting everyone and put your best foot forward

Some NPC sororities require reccommendations. NPC member sororities set their own policies not UF or UF Panhellenic. Membership selection is different for different groups. Get recommendations if you go through recruitment.

A picture of you is shown in front of the chapter . Friends might speak up for you. Some one who rushed you will say something good about you. It is a real shallow procees. As a senior hated it. I was lucky I got the house I wanted. I actually was super pledge. They knew they wanted me round one. I suicide to get the house. Four years later I really do not even like the girls in my house. I have out grown it. It is all about looks and popularity. Like high school. Such BS. Good luck ladies.

I thought my chapter was shallow but our rush process is very different. It’s individual and based off of the girl who rushed you. We don’t put up pictures in front of the whole chapter.
