what type of girls don’t get a bid anywhere?
by: PnmJust wondering what I should avoid doing. I saw a previous thread about a pnm saying she was overweight and a poster said she would prob not get a bid anywhere. I’m thin, but am curious if there is anything else that will result in not getting a bid anywhere. Btw, I don’t know anyone in the sororities at UF and am wondering if this will negatively affect me

I got dropped by Zta and ddd because I was 20 pounds over weight. I made it to round 3 inlay Kd and Adpi. Some houses like Zta and ddd are super Shallow and you are strictly judged in your looks and weight. Could not care less because I did not like either one . The two top nice houses are Kd and Adpi anyway.?

How can you possibly know that that's why they dropped you? I think I speak for most other girls when I say that I spend a lot of time with my chapter and know the vibe of the house very very well, and sometimes I can tell that the girl I'm rushing probably wouldn't fit in, so why would I tell my chapter to ask someone back when I know they'll probably end up wanting a different house that they're happier in?

Where I ended up is where I was appreciated . It was not Kd or Adpi. I just made a committ that the girls rushing at those true houses were genuine. The only two houses in the top tier that are so nice and sweet. I ended up in a middle tier house. No regrets either.

Only Kd and Adpi were genuine to me. I am a tall big boned girls but I am pretty. Yes 20 pounds oversight but still very pretty. I do fell that Kd and Adpi would have selected me . They are not that shallow. My weight did not stop me from being invited to Ka formal this year. So eat crow Zta and ddd , I do not think want your houses ever!

DDD and Zta have the mean girl reputations . Horrible sisterhoods. Drop rates are sky high. Shallow immature girls with attitudes. There is your reason . Adpi and Kd genuine and have great sisterhoods. FYI I do not belong to anyone of those houses. I do not hate anyone. Truth matters.

Of course gpa matters! If you’re rushing as a sophomore or junior and you don’t have at least a 3.0, you might get dropped by many houses, of all tiers. No one wants to take a grade risk! Even with a 3.0-3.49, you might get dropped, unless you have some incredible activities on your resume (like Preview staff or Cicerones..)
