How/Why do so many sorority girls have 10K or more followers. Someone told me they buy them but what's the point?

The girls that put way too much effort into looking hot on insta are not the ones any decent guy wants to date.

ok maybe I can rephrase it a lil bit. The try hard girls on insta have few decent friends in general.

Lots of the sisters want to go into "fashion", i.e. have instas where they note their OOTD, or where they bought their clothes. Some of these ladies think they are celebrities who people outside of UF will follow their fashion tips and trends. Hint, no one outside of Gainesville thinks you are a trendsetter, or even knows who you are.

I'm so sick of seeing the same girls post pictures of themselves day after day. Get a life or a job please! They pay for the followers because it makes them feel important if they think thousands of people are following their pitiful life.

They don’t need to buy them. It’s easy for hot girls who post trendy pictures to gain a following. Most of the followers are just creepy old guys though

How did you tell who's buying followers and who's getting the creepy old guys and foreign people? I don't understand the point either way.
