spring rush as sophomore or fall rush as junior?

I wasn't really into it at first, but now I really want to join a sorority. I rushed in fall 16 and accepted a bid from a sorority I ended up really not liking. I was debating rushing in fall 17 but decided against it cuz I'm pretty poor, but I wish I had. I heard that rushing as a junior is not a good idea, and also it seems a bit pathetic.. soooo should I just do spring rush?

Rushing as a junior is not pathetic. Chapters regularly take some juniors, although obviously not huge numbers of them.

Your money problem will still be a problem, though. There will be expenses. Do you have a plan to deal with that?
