spring rush

you won’t find out until which houses are going to until around december. however, if i had to guess (and don’t come for me, this is a guess based on the past years’ rushes), i’d say its usually bottom tier (alpha chi, gphi, phi mu, sig kapp) including aephi since i heard they didn’t make quota this year. in middle tier, dz consistently has a spring rush, with a handful of other middle tier sororities. (pi phi, chi o, etc) there’s also usually one top tier sorority as well, tridelt and aopi the most.

Well this is false, I've heard of KD, ZTA and ADPi all having to do spring rush because they're under quota. However, it is true that it is very unlikely that you'll get a bid unless you know someone in the sorority.

Don't bank on middle tier sororitys doing spring rush, PBP and XO did it last year which wasn't typical for them. DZ does it because girls drop for financial reasons. DDD same thing, but they give bids to girls they already know (pretty much what every house does above bottom tier). If you're spring rushing, you're getting bottom tier.
