i got no bids! what the hell do i do now?

I couldn't rush everywhere. So I did what I thought I was supposed to do. I rushed top tier. That didn't go great. They pretty much ignored me, sometimes I got walked out. I also rushed middle tier. That went better. I talked to guys, kept going etc. Well last night I got walked out of one, and didn't get a bid at any of the others. Looks like I should've paid more attention to lower tier too! But I didn't know that.

Is there any way to still get involved? Like do you think lower tiers filled their quotas? How do I find out?

I feel bad that I didn't rush them to begin with, but it is what it is.

Talk to guys in your dorm ask around. Some low tier houses could bring you to dinner this week and give you a bid. Better act quick though. If you meet anyone in a lower tier fraternity this year now is the time to text them

It's not too late, some houses are still giving bids. I heard ZBT, TKE, and DU are open briefly tonight, maybe some others too.

I think zbt is still giving out bids tonight, should definitely check them out

also, if you have any numbers of guys in the fraternities that you went to during rush you should text them and see if they will tell you anything or give you advice or reason on why you didn't get a bid. guys do have friends in other fraternities maybe someone can help you out.

Does any one know for sure if DU is giving bids tonight. I was not in Gainesville for the whole week. They are having steak dinner is that formal dress?

steak dinner is normally invite only. dont just show up unless your were directly invited. if your intrested in getting a bid hit up some brothers and ask if they are still bidding and if you can come to a meal this week.

Steak dinner is invite only but you can come to DU at 8 before the dinner and try to make a final impression.

Being in a fraternity doesn't define you. Don't desperately look for a place that will take you last minute. Wait until spring and re-rush, looking at the places you ignored the first time around. You don't want to make a split second decision and end up regretting it for the rest of college.
