opinion on taking the knee

Political messages don't belong in the workplace.

If someone in the stands wants to wave a sign or do whatever, they should be able to.

The players are at work, representing their team, and should not be acting political. That's why the NFL doesn't let them wear special stickers and decals without permission.

I think there is a clear distinction between regular people, and celebrities. These players have millions of people watching them, and they are using that power to raise awareness for an issue that they feel is important. The NFL raises awareness for breast cancer, etc. but how is it wrong that they are exercising their right as Americans, and raising awareness for other important causes not sanctioned by the NFL. When you have the ability to leave a positive impact on the world, do it. It's not disrespecting the country, or military, but just some unjust things that are happening in the country they call home and should be comfortable in. Just my opinion though
