Can someone give me an honest description about phi mu? I know they don't have the best rep and i was wondering what particularly is the reasoning?

They are the best house in the bottom tier. They are better than Axo? Kappa, Sk it gamma or aephi. Just nice , awesome girls with the best sisterhood in the bottom tier. If you like them go for it.

I am over the negative stigma around specific houses. EVERY HOUSE AT UF WILL OFFER YOU A GREAT EXPERIENCE. Please stop with calling out specific house whether just to start drama or if you are curious. An anonymous website will not help you.

Average nice girls, not stunners or overly involved. Kinda bland/ not a lot going on that makes them a stand out sisterhood. But again, that's my perception. Go where you feel comfortable non matter who is "ranked higher" in tiers

They are considered bottom tier. I really don't see how they are any better than gamma phi, SK, kappa or aephi. No one outside of the bottom tier really gets down into the nitty gritty of ranking them. I know people say choose the house that you feel most comfortable in but if you're the type of person that cares what others think of you (everyone cares what others think of them and if you don't agree you're probably lying to yourself) it's not a house that you would want to go.

So-called bottom tier sororities still pair up with mid-tier fraternities. The tier thing is such a superficial aspect to the entire sorority experience. If you don't realize that, then I guess you deserve to miss out.

I have liked them and thought they were nice. Am trying to be real in this and just want to meet people and have fun. So tired of negativity, thinking of checking out of this horrible site, it just makes me feel like I am back in middle school every time I look at it.

If you click with the chapter, then that's great. they just have a bad rap over the years because they have been a small chapter and haven't gotten the most sought-after-girls. But since the quality of students UF has been getting has improved over the last 30 years, so have EVERYONE'S NM classes... Phi Mu included. I think one of their members is a UF Cheerleader this year.... that will bring them more positive visibility.

Of course, there are always going to be the few rotten apples who spoil a chapter - every house has them, they just prefer to keep them more hidden during recruitment.

They are becoming more and more superficial in efforts to tier climb by requiring work out hours, only posting facey girls in pr, negativity towards sisters in their chapter who are not about it, and losing that key component of sisterhood that they claim to have the best of. Girls dropping for this reason

The above post is fake news. I am not sure why all the hate for this house but Phi Mu is known for having one of the best sisterhoods on campus. They don't require work out hours, that is just ridiculous. Girls are not dropping out. If you pull up the UF greek grade report (google it), like I did while I was researching your claim, you will see they had 259 members in Fall 2016 and 242 members in the Spring 2017. Which is a whopping 17 member difference that I am sure is explained by girls graduating, studying abroad, internships, etc. If you are going to lie, at least make it convincing.

They don't require work out hours, but they do a thing where you get prizes if you do work out. So it's more of an incentive program than a requirement.
