top tier houses
by: EmilyThey have connections after graduation. The attorney general for the State of Florida was a DDD at uf. Adpi at uf had a governers wife and her daughters. Tim Tenows mom and sister were Adpi's here. Zta has a sportscaster that recently got married as a Zta at Uf. Many Miss Florida's come from kd, Dg , Adpi ,ddd. Try telling someone when you go to law school that you were an axo or an Sk. You will get no response BUT if you tell them you were a ZTA or Adpi at Uf doors will open. The connections you will have for being in the Top tier area substantial. Top tier houses have so many professional connections and many famous people belonged to the TOP tier at UF.. The bottom tier had nothing. Go Big ! Go to the TOP. It will pay off in the long run. Prestige comes from being in the TOP tier.

This post is crap. I was in a middle tier sorority and I have had a huge amount of success in my involvement at UF and beyond. Good opportunities in every chapter, and at the end of the day, your success will depend on your intrinsic motivation.
Also consider the national reputation and strength of the sorority you want to join. Connections throughout the country will be strong if you join a strong national organization, and many UF graduations leave the state of Florida or have clients outside of Florida.
Often, I have found that people who were "handed" positions at UF because they were in a certain chapter did a poor job in the position and honestly didn't learn what hard work means.
