What GPA do sororities start making cuts at for sophomores?

Many sororities have a 3.0 GPA because they don't want to take the GPA risk. If you have below a 3.0, you would end up on academic probation right away. I think there are a few with a 2.5 but I've never heard anyone confirm that.

So as long as I have above a 3.0, I shouldn't worry?

You should be fine if you have above a 3.0

Dude just save your money and don't even register for recruitment. Most houses will view that as a GPA risk and you'd already be on academic probation. If you couldn't balance just academics, how do you think you will balance academics and greek life? Boost your GPA then try rushing.

I got in with a lower GPA and being in a sorority actually helped me with my academics because I have more support and know more people in my classes
