Does the distance of the house impact anything?

Not a PBP so this is speculation so don't attack me if I'm wrong lol: It might be inconvenient during freshman year but there are busses which make it easier, but after freshman year you can choose to live closer to the house and it's convenient. Also I'm super jealous of how close they are to the frats which make socials/tailgates/parties convenient lol.

I know a lot of girls let it factor into their decision during prefs but tbh I agree with the poster above, it's one year and busses exist and if you like that house regardless I feel like you shouldn't let that make your decision? I'm in DZ so while we aren't as far from row as PBP or KKG, i feel like theres no real benefit to being on sorority row versus not on row. Hope this helped!

For freshman year, looking back I would not have wanted to be in a house that far, it would've been extremely difficul. It's far from classes and my friend in pi phi always had to miss meals Bc it was inconvenient (to me that sucks Bc your paying for that food and you can't get it) idk

honestly the girls that pi phi is looking to recruit are the girls who would probably prefer to not be surrounded by other girls, more of the bros

What does this even mean? All my friends in PBP get along fine with girls and they're literally a sorority so they're always surrounded by girls...lol

I think it is a frat. Full of lesbians, it was flat out weird. Did not like it at all

Ok so my sister was in pi phi and I'm rushing this fall and I asked her about this and she said she actually loved the house location and it was super easy to get to, really convenient for parking when and got a car because there's zero parking by sorority row and super convenient for parties like I went to visit her for a game day a few years ago and we stopped at the house to pee and get water while tailgating lol so I don't think it's a bad location at all

If you are living in an off campus apartment or luxury dorm like Windsor, ivy etc, I would def take into consideration how far it is from the row and how far your meals would be

The house's distance is not really bad at all as there are constantly busses that will take you from wherever on campus to row. For tailgating, socials, midtown, etc, it's very convenient bc it's very close to those things. Honestly don't let the distance stop you from choosing them if you end up wanting them as it isn't even that big of an inconvenience. My roommate who is in pbp always says the girls in the house love living there and wouldn't want their house to be anywhere else.

i was a pi chi and my advice to PNMs is first get off this site!!! but second don't let factors like the house affect your decision. choose the sorority you can see yourself in and get along best with the girls. the sisterhood is way more important than the house

I hated it. I preffed there. But I ended at a top house. I personally think PBP would rule the middle tier if they were on the row. I hated the distance. Genuine girls, sweet and sincere , reminded me of Adpi and Kd . Move to the row PBP.

They're clearly doing just fine off row if theyre already top of mid lol

Way too far from everything, dropped them because of distance it is a large factor
