I don't know if that's true, but it is really apparent to tell during rush when you are not "ZTA material". You are standing at a table with a chapter woman and another PNM & chapter woman, the other PNM is DEFINITELY not ZTA material....I was at a table with a girl who didn't look like sorority-material (she wore jeans and converse during round 1...). I was dropped from ZTA but ended up in another top house so if it's true they put up numbers, don't be discouraged. You can still get a bid from a top house

this is not true for zta or any other house! this is disgusting and shallow

They rate you based on compatibility (which for ZTA means looks), personality, and potential contribution

As a girl in one if the other houses similar to ZTA, pnms are not judged on LOOKS. They are judged, however, on presentation. I have friends in ZTA and other top houses and we have all discussed this.

Presentation is not equivalent to how pretty a girl is. We factor in the way the pnm presents herself. Things like doing your hair and your makeup, putting effort into your outfit... these are what we are looking at. We focus on well rounded, friendly girls that can be positive assets to our chapter. Seeing a pnm put their best foot forward and showing that they care enough to make a good impression and put themselves together is what we are judging in the "looks" category. I can not stress this enough!!

It is the entire package PNM's . I have lots of friends in Zta. I live with a couple zta's . Adpi' and zta look at the entire package a PNM has to offer .It is not just looks. Good grief. It is grades, an out going personality , involvement., how you present you self. What kind of contribution will you contribute to the house. Will you be A senator, Blue Key, student body president. Etc. Are you a leader? What did you do in high school? Both Adpi and Zta l can be selective as they get the top PNM's. It is the entire package! A Pnm
Is Not selected on looks Alone. Adpi's are friends with Zta too by the way. There is no hate between those houses.

Shallow and arrogant

No this isn't true at all...they care about looks but they judge the same way every other chapter on row does. This is ridiculous

The first two rounds they will drop almost exclusively on looks. That's what I witnessed during recruitment.

ranks looks like every other sorority except there is no middle ground, the first couple of rounds. so like you're either a 0 or a 5, which is like a 10. this was true a couple years ago at least, not sure about now
