should i even go through rush?

I was thinking about going through rush but have a 2.6 GPA as a sophomore. Am I wasting my money registering for rush? If you know your house doesn't let people in with that low of GPA, please tell me.

Yes you're wasting your money. No house will take someone with a GPA below 3.0, it's not only a GPA risk but also nationally almost all require a 3.0 as an active.

You could possibly get a bid from a house that accepts people with a 2.5 GPA cutoff. But try joining a different club that is less time intensive and focus on getting your GPA back up. Sororities are fun but it won't be fun when you're trying to manage new member events along with trying not to fail school. We ultimately are here to get degrees, not for being in a sorority.
