about joining lower tier fraternity

okay so if i were to join a "lower" tier fraternity like zbt or sig ep, what exactly makes it "lower tier" than say delta chi? like do they have less socials or less formals?

tiers are mostly pointless. If that's where you fit in, you'll have a great time. Top frats may have more "ragers" or whatever but you won't even enjoy them if that's not your kind of group.

It's sort of like picking a college. You'll be better off with the right fit than at a place that you perceive as more pretigious but really isn't your type.
